Forget me and your perception
I am much much more 
Than the stupid child
You seem to take me for
Forget me and your notions 
Once crossed, the line is scorched
Zig sagged and sharp
More defined than before 
I am awake with eyes wide open
I am fierce and unrepentant
I will work hard and get away 
With my rewards that are expected 
I thought I needed you
But I was so very wrong
This game of cat and mouse 
Went on for far too long
And now I have peace 
But the fire is unsated 
My game has just begun 
And the expiry is undated

I am getting what I need
