Take a needed break
from our mundane existence

Look to the twilight sky
and if you peer closely
you will see
bouncing freely
between the clouds
the free spirited hedonist
cavorting with angels

A pleasure seeking narcissist
of the first degree

Far beyond lame condemnations

Lives only for the moment

Squeezing every drop
of joy from the night

Averse to the morning after
consequences we mortals fear

Rolls with total immunity
from that social stigma nonsense
we envious mud dwellers
throw at those who dare soar
above this gloomy world

They are
and will always be
free from the shackles
of our suffocating propriety
