A great man left the White House, who will be historically renowned;
Replaced by an incompetent imbecile, who will be remembered as a clown!
The former saved our country, from economic ruin;
The latter poses a lethal threat, for heās crazy as a loon!
Obama served his country true, let no other name itās rule;
But Trump has ties to āOld Moscowā, āPutinās Puppetā and his tool!
The great man left a legacy, with healthcare meant for all;
The fool thatās now our leader, signed an order that it must fall!
In Paris several months ago, Obama pledged to save the world;
Trump doesnāt think the globe is warm, and jabs at it heās hurled!
The great one had to say goodbye, and give the keys to one thatās so inept;
As we weep for our dear country, and wish Obama we could have kept!

Maybe you need to change your mind too. Ā I wrote those words the day after his election, out of respect for my President Obama, who had asked that we give him a chance. Ā That was over two months ago, and I have seen where we are headed, because 80% of his Cabinet is reprehensible. Ā I'd rather protest, so "America" has a chance, and not this tyrant.
