FROZEN

I have nothing to say, my heart is broken
I'm totally speechless, my mind is frozen

My spirit and body are separating, 
I feel the bones of my soul breaking 

My love was destroyed by death
I watched my wife fight for her breath
 
I thought she was playing dead
little did I know, I was losing a friend

Living hurts more than dying
"be strong" they say, I'm trying

Watching her die in my sight I was traumatised
The feeling was worse than being colonised

My heart was left frozen 
The love inside was then rotten

My intelligent mind was frozen
My precious heart was broken

The pieces of my broken heart were lost
To repair my heart I don't know the cost
