LOVERS BLESSED

unsaved words of clay
reclined in yesterday

washed away on pages
eaten in the torn  warp of night
standing alongside that gentle grave

unmarked
received and betrayed

Silence you lie
take me into torture
take me,
take my life
stars you blame each other
stars falling as they might

vast an ocean billows before me
my flesh a blanket in delight
rumours cascade in waterless hades
hell is dancing to be saved

the bartender serves me another day
I just drank that other one away
place me in the velvet cushion bosom blessed
striving to stumble
guessing which joke to tell

Bloated in red
soaked before a dusty bed
pledged by saints
held on command
laughter drives a beacon light ominous voice
mirrors collected
numbers handed into covered jars
storms in groups
playing forgotten blues
slipping on the sliding
words of my clay
RIPPED SKULL
GRACE THE SAVED
