Full control

I know the dark
Can Never truly leave,
All it takes is a spark
Ive learnt to live and breathe .

sometimes I miss the pain 
The constant fear and fighting,
That must sound insane 
But it gave me an edge on writing.

I don’t write much anymore 
As the pain is locked away ,
For how long ? I’m not sure 
 I might find out one day .

It was a big part of me 
 The passenger in my head ,
Now I feel so free 
As the darkness isn’t fed .

I no longer hear the voices
Trying to kill my soul ,
Affecting all of my choices 
I now have full control .
