Funny Girls

My mother asked me "what's wrong funny girl " as she sat by my sideĀ
I'm tired of being funny is all it makes me really sad..I say this because when you are the funny one you aren't looked at for love you're looked at for jokes or puns about god or signs from up above.. I don't want to be pretty funny if I can't be funny pretty you only have one star quality and mine is to make people laugh.. funny girls don't cry either my mother taught me that.. so I'll juggle and sing while pretty girls pout and gleam but I'll never be loved Ā so it seems until the joke dies out.Ā
