Fury

I am angry
but this time not at myself
I am angry at what’s going on around me
I am angry at the people who want to take my decisions from me
as if it were their life to run
I am not an object that can be controlled and bended to meet their desires
I am not a perfectly made structure with everything where it needs to be
I am a forest fire that blazes out of control yet is so captivating and beautiful but destructive and knows no limits
I am a bird who flys here to there until I know where I am meant to be
I am a butterfly breaking free of the restrictive cocoon that held me and left me as a caterpillar because they thought I wasn’t ready to fly
I am a forced to be reckoned with
I let no one stand in my way
