Poem -

in gain or vain

To receive the praise from your loved ones no wine can out taste

But to receive the scolding from them no whip can out leash.

Its funny how we run into the hands of the ones we love when we comfort or approval

But its more crazy how we turn those hands off when hurt or facing denial.

There is a lot to gain from the warmth and comfort of love

but it might be in vain for the pain that comes with it can also be so unbearable.

but yet in gain or vain love lives on pure, un touched and glaring.
