"Gemini"

-Gemini-
He shares a side of me,
That slips through the dark,
A Jekyll and Hyde, That
Roams through the park.
That side I did fear,
To allow to be free,
Not of conscious thought
As he stares back at me
I’ve confronted him, on
Occasions, leave me alone
The power to resist not,
Like a wind overblown.
His urges like addictions,
Got to have it so strong
Got to have, got to feel it
All of a sudden, it’s gone
Lurking in the front door,
Sneaking now, from back,
Like an animal of instinct,
After prey, he will attack.
Now feelings of remorse,
As I sit and ponder why,
This side of me exists,
When resist, I did try
So button down hatches,
And lock all your doors,
There’s a creature in the
night,
Take heed and hear its roar,
Better turn off your lights,
Lie (dead) still, on the floor,
When he has you in his sites,
You’ll exist, no longer more.
The Evil twin
