Generation me

Generation me

I was told that I am special
please don't shout at me
I'm going to my safe space
there's things I should not see.
Solace on my iPhone
rarely do I glance
to reality that offends me
or spoils my self romance.
They say that I am worth it
those that came before
guidance and self sacrifice
that I do ignore.
Entitlement that leads me
to selfish, shallow places
why grow when I can scrounge
from my peers good grace's.
My fun is all that matters
freedom thrills and choice
consequence please don't bother me
with your dreary voice.
Responsibility, is that a fragrance?
the latest from Calvin Klein
who cares for I am special
I'm out to get what's mine.
