Poem -
GEORGE THE GOOSE GOES SHOPPING
George the goose went food shopping today
Nothing unusual in that before you say
He made his list like all good geese do
Definitely on the list was a berry stew
Whilst at the shop he saw Sally swan
Spoke for a while and then she was gone
Dolly duck also happened to be there
She told him about her latest affair
He went back to his list and disaster struck
George shook his beak and cursed his luck
The reason behind the anger for George the goose
At the chilled section they had ran out of juice

What a cute story! I liked how the animals came to life in the poem. I think with this particular concept, you could do even more with it. I could have read another page or two in this format and I'm old! Children would really like this story, well done!
