Getting Use To Starless Nights

Getting Use To Starless Nights

It is always...

An overcast of

Mother nature's emotions,

Dark starry grey

In wanting winter's way

Where hopeless romantics

Such as a lonely sun

Shine not,

In mother's methods

Periodically purging Sharp shards of teary rain,

When....

Can all but death is an end

Forever lovers

Wish upon a star

Surrendered from millions

Each match a fish in the sea

One less in a barrel

Shooting endlessly

Into our great

Ever expanding universe,

How are legends born?

And right

Able to take seat in the light

Or ponder a scheme

Some day slip into

Squandered dreams,

If said minds shunned

Unbaptised of starry lit nights,

Virgins of ancient constellations

Go untouched

By burning passionate eyes

Seeing less of a love spread wonder

Now that it does....

But rain all the time.

Does weather really hide the truth?

We certainly know

It affects the mood,

I'd rather bunker down in rain

Alert the doctor

Who all but knows of the constant head pain.

My newest appreciation

For one radiant day

With lonely sun

And cloudless blue skies

Over the hundreds

Filled with flooding tears,

Soon....

Leaden skies

Will fade

Thanking God

This grey has gone the hell away,

All wonderment

Gazes towards black skied cities

Realizing not, a vast mystery

In need of exploration

But a reflection of you

And your reflection lusters

Through millioned mile distances

From black defining mirrors

Reminds me....

It's not often

But rare

One can radiate so beautifully.

Hi Devon,Great write, love these lines

"Soon....

Leaden skies

Will fade

Thanking God

This grey has gone the hell away,"

Thank you Cleo! That is a great moment when those dreary grey skies break to sunny blue skies. Much love and appreciation for you.

Thanks Rock, skies seem to be sunny and then cloudy with a snap, what can you do. Pray hard for the sunshine. Peace.

The Bee

Bees love the sunny days, yes Devon, the sun wont last forever and the cloud and rain will roll in but that's when you put the feet up and sit back to think of those sweet sunny times. A most enjoyable read.
