Giving Back Their Time

Giving Back Their Time

They told me...

"Don't worry, you'll be free"

Thanks to my peers on the jury

I don't know them

But you bet they know me

Another lost soul from the streets

I know what they're thinking...

If they let me go I'll just repeat

I promise...not me

Time to hear the verdict

The trial isĀ complete

The moment of truth

Knocked me off my feet

For the rest of my life

I'll be surrounded by concrete

I can't do this...beĀ obsolete

Good-bye

Where is my sheet?
