Glass Raised

Glass Raised

I felt the glass
raised inside
meĀ
In responseĀ
to the white flag
rising from my
weary soul

We fall
but theĀ
soldier revolts

No end
for the endless
a mortal
who drenches
in immortality

Not a God
but we are all
children of one

It is allĀ
about attitude
The sun is still there
even when weĀ
just see rain

My glass is raised
to a fantastic
moment
