Glimpse Of The Sun

A glimpse of sun bourne on a square;
an empty promise for an empty rebel.
If he only knew that hell dwelt there,
a second thought, or time would tell.
Who dares to try to hold the sun?
Or wrests a bull with naught but horns?
A decision one will ever spurn,
for this man's balance we will mourn.
A half-day's panic did set in,
when bathed in fury, the gladness left.
A glimpse at the sun, too much for him;
that twisted world, where sight was deaf.
When hope was gone, there came a light;
the sun's last breath had fled his mind.
He lived his own rebirth that night,
yet for another, he still doth pine.
