Glowing Rose

Glowing Rose

Amongst the thorns,
In the depths of darkness,
There lies a glowing rose,
Engulfed in shadows,

Blocked from the sun,
And from everyone,
To hide away forever,
From all who try to reach it,

It's beauty untold,
For no one's eyes have seen,
The precious rarity,
 Of this one thing,

"Oh thine child,
That shineth like the sun,
Won't you please,
oh please,
Remove these thorns,
From your heart."

"Do not block away,
The love,
Of others,
Do not turn away,
The light,
You heart is like a glowing rose,
So please...
Do not let it wither,
In the night."
