Poem -
God's Hand
To kneel or not to kneel
Is it a must or do how you feel
Is it respectful and to whom
Or is it disrespectful for the ones in a tomb
Does it matter if the President says to or not
Does it even matter if that's what you were taught
Should you use your talent or work to show your support
Even if it is a field or basketball court
What's your opinion and does it even matter
People are still going to make debate and the world will one day shatter
My thought is, you do have the right to “Stand”
But I'll leave my judgement in God's hand

To threaten someone's career because a difference of opinion is just plain wrong...
People are killed for their beliefs...
That's wrong too...
People judge and persecute as if the people have the right to make that decision...
If people want to disrespect the people who died trying to protect us well the ones who it effects now are the ones that have come forward to take the dead ones place and still have made a promise to protect us for the future the best they can...
I'm sure there's not a Soldier who's first thought is I'm going to fight, die and protect those that will kick dirt in my face...
Knowing people will do it if they get the chance and then the person who kicked the dirt just shouldn't ask why anymore...

Thank you Sparrowsong. I do not judge anyone or anything. I let God do that. I thought I shared a very open look at what people do. I myself am a believer. All I can account for is me. Social media is a tricky place to debate now days. I guess that why sites like this are so interesting bc you can visit many minds in one place.
