GOLD
Concrete expressions emotionless eyes
Colourless canvass chilling disguise
Change of direction with nowhere to go
Strive to be different reject being the same
Shining with uniqueness an irresistible flame
Striking the balance and leading the show
Grow old with acceptance reap the rewards
Greedily grasping the wisdom it hoards
Gushing with energy and youthful glow
Pride wrinkles like diamonds on a tiara crown
Promote ageing as eliteness into which you have grown
Put the G in front of OLD is all you need to know

Thanks Tony, it is about different types of people, those that are happy to just blend into the crowd, then those that want to be different but then when we grow old, we are just categorised as old and I am trying to point out that maybe that is something worth recognising and celebrating in itself - G-OLD - Saying GOLD = OLD if you add the letter G - Hope this clarifies
