Goodbye Dreams, Hello Reality

It was love at first sight 
the way our eyes locked
couldn't break open or unlock
the way you took me around town
fireworks booming above our heads
the soft sand and salty air 
small waves crashed on our feet 
we were walking in moonlight
it was if I was dreaming
only dreams never last forever
we lived in different areas, different worlds 
the last goodbye , the hardest of all
the thought of never seeing you again
never hearing those stories 
the way your sarcasm brought smiles to my face
driving diffent ways, separating, broke me
it killed me in the inside, a heart break
eyes were a wild , roaring river 
hands weak, clutching the steering wheel
the sound of sad love songs 
taste of cold tears dripping upon my lip
this feeling, words can't explain
only the sounds of loud cries
