Goodbye My Love

Goodbye My Love

The Sun rises in the heavens.
The valleys green with corn.
Your hair spread on the pillow.
Another summer morn.

Your eyes awake with sorrow.
Our time has come and gone.
Now is the last tomorrow
I hear the train blow its horn.

Wipe your eyes of teardrops.
Never let me see you cry.
Kiss me one more time my love.
For tears are not the way
for us to say goodbye.
