Goodbye to our Queen of Hearts

There was a time, long ago and far away, 
when our lives were young and we loved to play. 
Then there came a girl with a heart of pure gold, 
and when she smiled it would melt the cold. 
Her face was full of life's sweetest dreams 
and the joy that those gentle thoughts would bring. 
She blessed us all on the day she was wed, 
and helped the world with her shy smile and joy she shed. 
William and Harry now walk upon this lucky earth, 
because of your love, you did give them birth. 
Diana Spencer, our Queen of Hearts, 
you made us think of some of life's greatest thoughts. 
You have shown us a path that we each may take, 
to help our fellow men in this world to partake. 
We will miss your shy smile and your twinkling eyes, 
and the great joy you brought into this world that cries. 
Sleep in peace this day and do not worry so, 
for your life has given unto us your purebred soul.
