Goodbyes
You kiss me goodbye
Like you've done it a million times
And now I'm here,
Your voice echoing a goodbye
The feeling of you lips
Our parting kiss
One last goodbye
Before you leave me alone for many nights
Its not enough.
I want you more then I am going to admit
I want more then a goodnight kiss.
I want forever
Not a distant someday
I want you now, and forever.
You always said we belonged together.

whether this relates to your own situation or not - I love this imagery and believe this to reach a lot of people, myself included. I think if you really miss someone to this degree the healthy thing is to let go because there is a reason it didn't work out in the first place. Eloquently written though, friend!
