Goodnight

Goodnight

Goodnight my sleeping child,

Β as the calm rain sings its lullaby

your eyes grow heavy with every soft note

Goodnight my darling angle,

as the covers slowly wrap you in a cocoon of softness

you lay still, letting the quite slowly drift u to sleep

Goodnight my love,

as you climb the tallest mountains

and swim the deepest oceans

the rain will still sing its lullaby

asΒ you run along the longest plains

and jump over the tallest hurdles

you will still beΒ wrapped in a cocoon of softness

goodnight my sleeping child

I will never forget about you

Upon the hill the moon glows brighter,

I watch as you squeeze her fragile hand tighter.

shadows of forgetfulness

shadows of forgetfulness

the radiance on her face
was comparable

now, she barely smiles...
