Poem -

Goodnight Mr. Sandman

In my dark dreary room I lay down and look around me.Β
My moonlight that shine through my window is gone.Β
The light that gives me Hope.Β
I feel so alone and cold.Β
I curl up looks up my ceiling wall, rocking back and forth.Β
Starring at the cracks above me I see a face with sorrow.Β
I see sandman's face, I feel a dripping of water on my forehead.Β
Sandman's tears are running down his face.Β
He cry over me not wanting to sleep.Β
As he throws his sand over my eyes.Β
My lids don't close because my teardropsΒ
are washing his magical sand away.Β
He gives up on me and I laid down rocking backΒ
and forth until the light of the sun shines through my face.Β
