Granada Lost

I remember the very last film to be shown Granthams Granada 1969 Easy Rider, films had already fallen to a three day week due the Incoming bingo machines which to this day I hate, It would be many years before Grantham would have another Cinema but sadly one of those small screen American style Cinemas but lacking the big screen of the Granada and wonderful lush red curtains which would slowly draw back at the beginning of each performance, but since those days the bingo halls have died the Granada demolished now nothing but memories and nostalgic photos on the Internet, Oh"how sad, and now the Cinema that replaced the Granada Is now to be replaced by a multiplex
