Grandma's Eyes

Grandma's Eyes

Whenever you looked into her eyes
It was like watching a movie scene
Her eyes told stories, they shared memories
Her eyes were as blue as the summer sky
I knew when she looked at me, she’d never lie
Grandma's eyes were always so kind
She gave me courage just by looking into mine
I’ll never forget the love she had in her eyes
Just thinking about her my heart cries
Her eyes were my eyes when she looked out for me
Her eyes were my eyes when she looked after me
Her eyes gave me the power to live freely
But then the role changed one day
And she was sent home, she flew away
That’s when my eyes became her eyes when she left me.

Thank you. I've been going through a lot and been missing my grandma so I decided to work on my next series.
