Grandma's Strength

Grandmas strength was so inspiring
She continued to fight when her health was spiraling
She never gave up no matter what
She grew stronger the more she fought
She was a survivor until the very end
That's when grandmas strength came to me
That's when my fight to live began
Grandmas strength taught me how to love
How to treat people even if they weren’t sent from above
Her strength became my motivation
The will to live became my dedication
She was strong, brave, and wise
Whenever I need guidance I look up to the skies
I know she's looking after me
Because I can feel her in the wind silently
She may have left me physically
But she’ll always be with me emotionally
I can’t wait to be with her again
So we both can live pain free
I just hope she’ll be at the gates waiting for me
