Grandparents

Grandparents

My grandparents were the best
i will never forget the love for me
Grandad in the garden growing his veg
Nan making jam from the berriesĀ
Grown in the garden
Laughing playing scaring my nan
By hiding and jumping outĀ
The smell of lavender from the bush
Always bees buzzing around collecting ladybirds in a jar, and holding nans hand waiting for grandad to return from work, I loved
My grandad to bits and in 1999 I was
Devastated he'd passed but one thing
Ive kept all these years is my grandads cardigan my nan gave me
I keep it save and sound.
Memories mean so much of these two special people never forgotten locked in my heart so many I won'tĀ
Ever part from my nans old teddy I've kept save and sound
I've also got her wedding gown
Stories gallore I'm still exploring
Doing their family tress it's intriguing
So nan and grandad I love you both
Miss you a lot could do with a hug
I've tried to be good and I know I should be better.
One day I promise I'll make you proud
Xx
