Lost

Lost

A woman like me doesn't give many chances
You're lucky to get more than one
I learned early in life
Wronged once is wronged twice
And now  generally gives none
My soul might be battered and broken
But it's stronger than you'll ever know
And each time you hurt me
Each time you desert ne
I'll be closer to letting you go
When a woman like me does the walking
Rest assured, you'll not see me, again ever
Like a ghost in the night
Ill be gone from your life
Best ask yourself what you'll feel then.
Lost.

Being Me

Oh I like this poem, Mel! I gave someone a chance once...never again. As you say in this

Wronged once is wronged twice

So very  very true.  And twice is the beginnings of a pattern!

A brilliant write đź‘Źđź‘Źđź‘Źđź‘Ź x

Like the philosophy in it.

Something bad happened for twice
then a bad one for the 3rd time comes
- This is a saying I know.
