A Great Bedtime Elixer

A giant glass of warmed up milk
A great bedtime elixir
Don't know bout you, all my dear dear friends
Prefer pie as a bedtime fixer
Now I know I'm being extremely naughty
But just turned eighty, by cracky
Who gives a poop if I'm a contrary old geezer
It's my right I've accepted my fate
Always been known as a sweet old duffer
Time to call a spade a spade
Thought you knew me, sure fooled all youse guys
The crankiest homo sapien made
My most intimate friends know not to cross me
To feel my wrath would be deadly
They stay clear of any controversial subjects
So they don't make the boat unsteady
At one time in my life it was important to me
To be loved and to have lotsa friends
Not any more just couldn't give two hoots
Eighty and nearing the end
Who knows how much time we all have left
No guarantees we'll even see tomorrow
So from this day forward gonna make my own rules
From now on gonna rest on my laurels
LOL

Humor is important in life to die, that stated in his posthumous letter Abraham Mendez Ramos and was written on his deathbed a few hours before he died, said the writer's open letters that one can die at any age and in any way and that should hasten the days as if there were a tomorrow Apart from real death is treacherous and in any way we can play.
In his last letters he was euphoric and full of curiosity, his sorrow was focused on his wife, his sons and all those beings and loved places left behind not to return ever, and between those places was his office with your personal computer that were there waiting to return its author and session began to write a new letter to the editor of magazine.
A very interesting story, my friend! This was very well written Lucas... cheers!
I have to admit, I like your outlook. We're constantly told that things like, wine, coffee, fat, sunshine, peanuts etc are either good or bad for us (the experts seem to periodically change their mind) and I think we tend to lose sight of the fact that we're all going to die anyway, so with such changing and contradictory advice, why worry?
A little of what you fancy does you good.
A stolen pleasure now and then does absolute wonders for our psyche! We all have just so many days on this earth, enjoy them but within reason! I don't have any absolutes!!! Flexibility is a good word to describe it! Thanks Michael for dropping by!!! Cheers!
