Greatest gift

My innards fluent in intricacy,
Every beat of my heart is crucial,
My veins structured beyond simplicity,
Such stellar entwined, my vessel.
 
Breath in my lungs a summary of life,
Such strength in my bones I stand,
Persona and dreams, creative and thrive,
Hope and belief as I ponder these lands.
 
The question of why reiterates through time,
Beautiful and yet fragile my body is weak,
Tis strong especially my beautiful mind,
So many answers to my questions I seek.
 
Such a gift bestowed and yet we abuse,
The most intriguing enigma to grace the earth,
Our bodies we break and constant misuse,
We regret to forget our meaning and worth.
