Grim Reaper

Grim Reaper

I am the grim reaper,
the keeper of death,
no tear will be shed on my part,
the closer I get,
the weaker your heart,
the more you will fear, ill in bed,
I am right here.
Draw your last card, as I appear.
I don't care, young or old,
you can say I am cold.
Babies, I've taken,
before they've even awaken.
Call me the forsaken,
all will be shaken,
hell will break men,
Satan will make them regret,
the things you've done and said.
You can't escape,
there isn't a landscape,
you can't hide, you'll lose your pride,
your bride, I am not on your side.
Your soul will fight,Β
but you don't have the might,
the power, you will cower,
as every flower
dies around my feet,
wise to stay, never try to retreat.
For it is safe to say,
one day, you too will fade away.
