Growing

Growing

lines grow deeper
day after day
my beauty's gone
my hair's gray
years flew by
before I knew
my mirror asked
who are you?
I simply say
It's just me
I may be older
but I'm happy
wiser, bolder
and content
accepting the past
and the present
a lifetime lived
brought me here
growing older
without fear
life has given
what I need
like sun and water
to a seed
