Last weekend was a damp squib
Same old bleeding story!
Barely a hint of Valentines
More like Halloween
By the time the monsters were all in bed
The wife was nowhere to be seen!
How I pine for the early years
Sexy lingerie and sensual rubs
Nowadays she'd rather watch TV
So I fuck off down the pub!
Wishing I was twenty one again
I only ever had good luck
Soon as i cracked a cheeky smile
I was guaranteed a fuck!
Life was oh so simple then
Couldn't wait ‘til Friday night
Sex, drugs and alcohol
So wrong but felt so right!
Partying shortens your life they say
Well so does fucking stress
Didn't have a care in the world back then
Now I'm under constant duress!
I see lots of pensioners in my job
The grumpy gits are never happy
Moan, moan, fucking moan
Old age to me looks crappy!
Longevity, what a useless reward
If you’re too senile to have any fun
Who wants twenty years of gardening
With a colostomy bag stuck to their bum!
Its ironic the things that kill you
Are what makes you feel so alive
Damn I miss them partying days
Crawling home at half past five
Oh well back to reality
My gorgeous kids and beautiful wife
I seriously don't have any regrets
Growing old is a harsh fact of life!...

Jason, where would we be without your wonderful humour. You come up with some great ideas, that are so relatable and although personal to you, could be appreciated by most of the male and sometimes female population lol!! Writing for me is about quality entertainment whether it be happy, hilarious or heartbreaking and you have this particular genre down to a 'T'! Loved it and nomed it:)
