Words, like arrows attack the heart

It's too late, the damage is done

Thoughtless words and actions

Done to the innocent one

They become the targets

They're safe; what could they do

Their hearts, too kind to say a word

They silently pray for you

But me, Oh, I call down fire from heaven

I say; God, you saw that wrong

Let me not be angry, offended

Let my heart still hold a song

Let my heart be guarded

Cover my heart with stone

- don't want to call down fire

Where only love and mercy's shone
