Half Moons

Half Moons

Taste it like Orange

but more tangy

Just like before

It Sinks it's fangs in me

I need this I'm afraid

I'll fall back if I don't

I need this to be okay

I feel it in my throat

So strong it melts

I swallow it down

It absorbs through my tongue

Dancing around on my taste buds

Fuck

Yuck

I can't stand the taste

I hate that I need this

So far from yesterday

Memories I miss

Fighting urges

I might lose control

Feeling cursed is

Feeling alone

Suddenly it takes hold

My nerves begin to calm

Counting breathes

My heart slows

No more sweaty palms

Finally I can relax
