Hands Of Hope

We live in a world, where uncertainty reigns,

in almost everyone's life

Everyday plans that used to be sure, are

now filled with doubt and strife

Some people go on with their lives, with

an attitude hard and bold

So many others seek comfort, and hope,

and need a strong hand to hold

Jesus taught us that opening our hands,

is necessary to accept the Cross

And the Cross is necessary for accepting

new life, serving others who are at a loss

We're apt to wander aimlessly when there is

no one to guide

And if you see your fellow man, travelling in

this world so wide

Open your hands of compassion, and spread

new seeds of pride

So release the light of all that is good,

let it filter thru the lands

Let others know that what they feel,

comes Lovingly from Open Hands
