Such a simple way of saying so much!
Thank you for noticing, Iām a very lucky person. Our dogs are our life, in our household.Ā
As are our cats on this sude of the ocean - a hearty Dutch mĆ®w for your woofsš
We have debated getting a cat once our puppy is through with being trained. Our two smaller dogs Buster and Spot love cats and Cardi ( 11 month old Rottweiler) has shown interest.Ā
Cats are different company than dogs, our current 'owner' (Aminata - came out of the bushes as a 10 weeks lost kitten, now almost 10 years ago) keeps herself very muchĀ to her self when there's a lot of stress or noise (even the telly can be too much), whereas our Bastian Dormitz (found in Austria again as a 10 weeks old lost and sick kitten) liked to sleep on my face if we let the downstairs door open. We always take in lost or abandonned cats (so from either the street or cat shelters). Alas, after 15 years we had to put him down due to Cat's alzheimer (now 2,5 years ago, but he is still missed). Except for a four years period as a student (English lit) in amsterdam, I've always lived with cats (about 59 years now). The nature of my work makes it impossible to have a dog as well and Aminata wouild be so unpleased we'd never see hetr agioan, poor sod, so no, as long as amniat lives, no dogs for us (for a long while my wife worked on the road as a sales rep, another reason why we never had a dog so far. I'd like one, though.Ā
