Poem -

Happiness

When I am sad

I despise those who aren't

Not because they are happy

But because I am not

Because they do not understand my sadness

and I am clueless to their happiness

how is one to feel sorrow

when he has no reason

and how am I to be happy

when I lack reason to be

while I look to see bad

they see nothing but good

their cup always full

when my throat burns dry

sorrow is all I know

and I fear drowning

if happiness floods my gates

I don't understand happy people

and they do not know of me.
