Poem -

The Man

And with his lies he makes you weep

Promises he’ll never keep

Of jewels and gold and bridal gown

Of houses large

And children bound

You waste your years by his feet

Breaking bones and smashing teeth

By and by you come to find

That even without him

You are fine
