Happiness and Grace

Have you ever seen someone
Filled with so much happiness and grace?
Look at the way she smiles,
The way it lights up her face.
The way the sun
Shines on her hair.
And on her skin
So bright and fair.
She dances with her shadow
As the day begins to fade.
She thanks the Lord above
For the beautiful day that he had made.
She's full of life and grace
And happiness inside.
She hasn't much to fear
And has no need to hide.
She continues to laugh and dance
As the sun slowly slips away.
She has no worries
Of what'll come with anew day.
Time passes on,
And she prepares for bed.
So many different thoughts
Are running through her head.
She hums a littlesong
As she begins to fall asleep.
And there isno need
For counting silly sheep.
As her dreams take over
And carry her away,
Her body lies so still
And rests from the day.
She's awoken with the rising
Of a bright, shining sun.
Birds already chirping
Calling her out to have some fun.
She gets up and stretches,
With a big smile on her face.
She goes outside and dances
With lots of happiness and grace.
