Snuggling under the duvet on a winter’s night

Feet on the settee, watching telly, munching Turkish delight

Beef stew and dumplings, home- made of course

Sausage and mash served with thick onion gravy

Hot chocolate at bed time in your pyjamas and slippers

Apple crumble and hot creamy custard

Drawing the curtains on a stormy evening

Sitting in the car when it’s pouring with rain

Soaking in a hot bath full of perfumed bubbles

Watching your favourite tv show with a large glass of wine

The glow of a candle in a dark corner

The aroma of a cake cooking in the oven

All these things make me feel cosy and happy

Best is, all of them cost little or nothing
