Poem -

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

From the day you brought me into this world- I've always been your baby girl.

You told me my church solos sounded just right- And read me bible verses every night. You instilled in me the importance of faith in Jesus Christ-

How he made his loving sacrifice.

You taught me the difference of right from wrong-

When I'd mess up. Your love was always strong.

No matter what; you were always by my side- Like helping me understand why grandma died. You've missed soo much, since you've been gone-

Though I do know that life goes on.

Between our  graduations, weddings, and your grandchildrens' births; I know you would have been the happiest mother on earth!

I have a child of my own that I am so proud of- Sure hope you can see her from up, above! "Izzy" asks more about you, as she grows-

I fill her in on everything I know.

From your favorite color, song and store-

Down to why you can't be with us, anymore. When God called you home, he took away your pain-

Your loving memories will forever remain.

It was the worst day of my life when we laid you to rest-

Time does not make it easier; I will confess. Mom, in closing; I just want to say- I do love and miss you and "Happy Birthday!"                                                    Love, Mary                                                  09/22/2015
