Happy Twenty-Fifth

Happy Twenty-Fifth

Last Thursday night was our Anniversary, 25 years since engaged;
Two and a half most glorious scores, our lives so perfectly staged!
Now in our seventies, those golden years, our love grows stronger each day;
When we tell people how old we are, they say “Oh, please, there isn’t a way”!
.
For they see you with that magical mane, hanging down close to your knees;
And I must admit, I look damn good too, they think we’re in our fifties!
Not only that, but we still oft will kiss, holding hands and snuggling a lot;
Like two teenaged kids, out on a date, young passion that’s running so hot!
.
I wanted to take my beautiful wife, out to dinner, but not dine alone;
And a cook-at-your-table is the perfect place, for so many years I have known!
So you can see by this photo, that’s where we went, two couples off to our side;
My lovely wife Linda, sitting so close, the source of my greatest pride!
.
.
                                Twenty five years pass
                        Each day our love grows stronger
                                My precious dear wife
.
To our readers:
Linda almost never drinks, but in honor of this most special night, she had one too many cups of Sake, and as you can see, is quite “shit-faced”.
