Hash Brown

Hash Brown

Whenever I get a chance during the interval,
I see him smile,
I see him laugh,
I watch him hanging with his friends at the park.
I see him with another girl,
And it makes me mad.
I see him talking with his dad,
Their serious expressions make me nervous.
I watch him from afar, alone,
And I gather the courage to comfort him—
But I don’t move an inch from my spot.
