Haunting Irony

Haunting Irony

I feel their eyes on me!
I can't see them
Or hear them
But I know they're watching me!
I'm very afraid
And I try to be brave
What do they want from me?
Will I make it home just fine?
Worried I'm loosing my mind
Is this insanity?
Because I walk through these woods on my own
But I know I'm not alone
How long until they reach out for me?
I'm running for my life
I got my hand on my knife
I heard them laugh at me!
I trip and fall, I stabbed myself in the neck
Now I'm gonna die for being a nervous wreck
What a complete tragedy!
They got what they wanted
Now I join the haunted
What a sad portrait of irony
