Have I told you lately that I love you ?
Did I mention to you how much I care ?
Do you realise every night I dream about you ? & I fantasize I’m stroking your long hair

Does it mean anything these words I say to you ?
Can my thinking creep inside your head?
Or am I wasting time wondering if you want me to ?
Would it be wiser if I loved another instead ?

Questions with answers you aren’t giving me
All of these puzzles are in my mind
But I’ll hold on to the hope within my heart
Some day soon my love  won’t go blind

One night in my bed & not so long ago 
I thought I heard you whispering my name
tho maybes it was just my imagination
but I hope you did coz that would be a shame

Perhaps I will send you a letter
It’s much easier to write down how I feel
then I will wait around outside my mail box
