Poem -

HEADS OR TAILS

Heads I win and tails you lose
Go ahead and call I will let you choose
However the coin lands will be the final call
Spin it high in the air and let's watch it fall

You call heads in this fifty fifty chance
We watch it land in a dream like trance
Only one winner as the coin falls onto the ground
Holding our breath not making a sound

What were we tossing for I hear you say
I will tell you the answer tomorrow not today
Heads or tails was the only solution
No turning back now or retribution

I could read a lot into the poem, it's speculator for sure. When I read it, I see the referee at an OSU football game, calling heads or tails. In life, we gamble great odds, with our relationships, our careers, our aspirations. We take chances each and every day, we gamble for life’s most important things: happiness.

The title is great!
