He.....(An Homage to Charles Aznavour's She)
Heย would be the fabric of your dreams
the reason why this life still seems
aย place that brings you joy and tears to fill your years.
He would be the one to kiss your cheek
and make you strong when you are weak
to find a way toย tell you how
you are the dreams he dreams of now.
He may be a princeย but not a king,
the one to promise everything
and never let you feel alone, when heโs not there.
He may make a day last for a year
will wipe away each bitter tear,
his laugh will echo in your ears
he will be with you through your fears

Lodigiana I saw this a while back and now found it again.
My late mother was a huge fan of this small Frenchman with a big voice.
And would agree wholeheartedly with your sentiments on Charlesย ย Aznavour, his voice, song writing and above all his presence when performing.
And your writing mirrors the beat and flow of his most loved and famous song.
Now that's a gift.
And dust off his L.P and crank up the volume.
